Morass CIC is a community-focused organisation dedicated to bringing people together to share time, skills and support in an inclusive and welcoming way.
We work to strengthen our local community by creating opportunities for connection, learning and personal development. Our activities are designed to be accessible to all, with a particular commitment to supporting individuals and families with special educational needs, disabilities and additional support needs.
We actively deliver community programmes that respond to local needs. This includes working in partnership with Lincolnshire County Council to provide the Holiday Activities and Food Programme, supporting children and families during school holidays, providing healthy meals, enriching activities and free childcare places to children from low-income families, benefiting their health, wellbeing and learning.
We also deliver creative, wellbeing workshops to support mental health, reduce social isolation, encourage self-expression and build confidence.
In addition, we run a monthly SEND friendship group, providing a supportive environment where children can build friendships and social confidence. This also offers parents and carers the opportunity to connect with others, share experiences and access valuable peer support, or take a short period of respite.
Through our work, we support individuals to develop greater self-sufficiency—financially, physically, emotionally and mentally—whilst promoting resilience, inclusion and stronger community connections.
Our mission is to support and empower our community through inclusive, practical and accessible activities that promote connection, learning and wellbeing.
We are committed to delivering programmes that support individuals and families, particularly those with additional needs, through meaningful opportunities for social connection, skill development and mutual support.
Through initiatives such as SEND friendship groups, holiday provision and creative wellbeing activities, we aim to reduce isolation, build confidence and enable people to thrive within their community.
